How the scoring works

The quiz uses our platform directory. It compares your answers with the requirements we have recorded and suggests up to three options to research:

  • Degree and certificate checks. If the directory records either as required and you have not completed it, that programme stays out. Missing information does not confirm eligibility.
  • Teaching preferences. Student age, experience and hours help order the suggestions.
  • Location and language need checking. We do not infer your English background from your residence or use a student market to decide where you can work.
  • Read the payment terms. Rates keep their recorded currency, unit and basis. Asking prices and teacher reports are labelled, and variable commission stays variable.

Pay amounts and commission do not affect the ranking.

Why a quiz instead of a table?

A shortlist can give you a starting point when you are comparing several platforms. It cannot check every requirement or tell you whether a school will hire you.

Use the suggestions to choose which schools to research, then read the current vacancy and application requirements.

How accurate is the recommendation?

It compares your answers with our platform directory. Requirements and pay can change, and some details are unknown. Read the linked pay page and the employer’s current requirements before applying. A suggestion does not confirm eligibility.

Do you store my answers?

No. The quiz runs entirely in your browser. The only thing saved across page loads is the result link, which keeps your answer codes — not your name, email address or IP address.

What about platforms that aren't on your list?

The quiz covers the programmes in our platform directory. A programme may be missing because we have not reviewed it or do not have enough information. Absence is not a judgment about its safety or quality. Check the current job board for individual roles and read the listing policy to see what we include.

What if I want to teach from a country not in your list?

Choose Other, then check the employer’s explicit applicant location rule. A student market, office address or “Worldwide” description does not establish eligibility.

Can I take the quiz for someone else (a partner or a friend)?

Yes. After seeing results, select “Retake quiz” to start over with different answers.
