Public platform records use different eligibility rules and pay units. Compare the exact source instead of applying one universal pay rule to every teacher.
What the current records actually show
There is no single current pay gap that can be applied to every platform. Some sources set an eligibility rule, some publish an advert or fee rule, and many do not publish a tutor wage. The useful comparison is the exact requirement and pay unit on each source.

- Name a learner task you can teach, such as pronunciation practice, exam sections or workplace speaking.
- Use the platform's exact pay unit and fee rule when planning your price.
What the evidence cannot tell us
Public records do not measure every teacher's bookings, take-home pay or treatment in search results. A native-only rule can affect access on one platform, while another platform can use a language-level or qualification rule. That is enough to choose where to apply, but it is not evidence for a universal percentage gap.
