An unpublished rate is not zero pay. A price set by a tutor is not a wage.
Questions worth asking before you accept
- Are training, cancellations, trial lessons and work outside class paid?
- What safeguarding checks and procedures does the school require?
Use the income calculator with a real offer and the unpaid hours you expect. Leave unknown figures out of your planning until the employer confirms them.
