ESL Teacher

Job Summary

The levels currently taught at the school are Pre-School, Young Learners (Starters, Movers, Flyers), KEY, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE and IELTS.

We teach a range of age groups, mostly aged between 6-25, with also adult classes.

The successful applicant will be teaching small class sizes (max. 12 students) with some one-to-one lessons.

The contract will last until mid-June 2027 with an opportunity to be renewed for the next school year.

The contract is for 28 hours a week. However if these hours are not available your wages will remain the same. You will be paid extra for any hours in excess of 28.

Duties include preparing and delivering engaging lessons for students of all ages, from pre-school and young learners to adults, typically for Cambridge exams, maintaining student records and attending meetings to address any arising issues. It should also be noted that applicants should have a desire to work with young learners. If you have any relevant experience with pre-school children, this would be ideal.

Qualifications

Experience and capability of working with children preferred.

We require applicants to have a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate and be willing to bring enthusiasm and motivation into the classroom.

Teaching experience is not a requirement but would be beneficial to your application.

Salary and Benefits

£1,200 - £1,400 / month (net)

≈ $1,605–$1,873 / €1,399–€1,632

We will assist you in finding accommodation for your stay.

1200/1400 euros (all taxes are paid by the school).

Wages are paid on the 16th of every month and as previously stated will remain at the above rate even if 28 hours are not available.
